Sutherland Shire Council Employees' Credit Union Ltd (SSCECU) was formed in 1968.  Like all Australian financial institutions, we are a fully licensed and Approved Deposit Taking Institution (ADI) and we are strictly governed by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC).

Want to Join SSCECU?

Membership is open to the following people;

  • Employees of Sutherland Shire Council.
  • Any relative of employees of Sutherland Shire Council (where the employee has joined SSCECU).
  • Employees of affiliated bodies of Sutherland Shire Council (eg: Fire Control).
  • Any relative of employees of affiliated bodies of Sutherland Shire Council (where the employee has joined SSCECU).

Simply contact one of our friendly staff at the branch who will advise you on how to join SSCECU.


Important Reminder!

If you leave your employment at Sutherland Shire Council or affiliated body, you DO NOT have to close your membership with SSCECU.  You can continue to take advantage of our products and services indefinitely!
